The ROC team is launching three new industrial contracts with Orange Labs to perform collaborative research in the following topics:
– design and experimentation of a new network automation framework and related algorithms;
– definition of cybersecurity measures for edge computing infrastructures;
– definition of traffic models related to the decomposition of virtualized network functions in micro-services.

The collaboration is in the framework of the Cnam-Orange research collaboration agreement launched by the ROC team in 2018/2019, and follows two previous research contracts in the area of 5G architecture and algorithms design.

The contracts will fund three Cnam-Orange joint Ph.D. students for the next three years.
